All PETRONAS Scholars are covered inder YPM/AIG insurance. Therefore you should opted 
for waiver of university medical insurance. These can be done at regisrar office by 
showing the your proof of coverage i.e your card. 

You should received a medical Insurance Card from YPM prior to your travel to US. 
The card is green in color and carries your name and insurance number. Behind the card
is important contact number, please write all these info down on a piece of paper 
and keep it in your wallet or purse or somewhere safe in case you lost the card. 

The card can be use for your trip to medical center or clinic to see a doctor. 
Usually the doctor will deal with AIGIS (AIG International Services Inc.) based in 
Texas for billing and claims. 

For the medication or prescription, (the 'ubat'), you need to get it from your local pharmacy. 
Charges for prescription drugs need to be paid by scholars. Make sure to keep the receipt. 
You need to submit claims for all medical services or prescription charges directly to AIGIS. 
We recommend for you to do it soonest as you visited the doctor to avoid lost of receipt.

If you currently not having one or misplaced or lost the card, call YPM immediately.
