When do I get my allowance ?
Your living allowance will be paid to you on quarterly basis:

1. Living Allowance (Please advise of your preferred arrangement):
   
   1. If you pay your own rent, you will get full allowance.
   2. If PETRONAS pay for housing, 60% of full allowance.
   3. If the housing includes meal plan, 40 % of full allowance.
   4. At any time when your housing/meal arrangement changes, submits adjustment form.
   
   Other Allowances:
   
2. Books & Instrument allowances:
   This is paid 2 times annually, 40% in Fall and 60% in Spring semesters.
3. Clothing allowance:
   This is paid once off prior to your departure to the USA/Canada.
4. Relocation Allowance :
   This is paid once off prior to your departure to the USA/Canada.
5. Thesis Allowance :
   This is paid once off at your final for mandatory thesis requirement, upon written confirmation from University.
6. Last Study Allowance :
   This is paid once off after your completion of your study.
7. Industrial Training / Internship:
   You can claim RM 10.00 per day in Malaysia and $20.00 per day in USA.
   Should the company you are attached to pay your salary or practical training allowance, you will only be paid the difference. Please note that you cannot claim for the rest days and Public Holidays.
   
   To claim, you must submit the following document:
   1. The completed claim form
   2. Letter of certification from Employer
   3. Letter from the University verifying that the practical training is a course requirement
   4. A copy of the practical report
